Catch Up....

So it has been a very eventful few days. I was lucky and unlucky enough to have a million days off in a row so I decided to take advantage of it. Tuesday I took the train to Portland to meet up with Lou. The train was super fun and I met quite the characters in the train "lounge". (including a drunk 60 something old man, a teacher who had the craziest sun burn and was making her first trip back to Portland since the last time she was there and got jumped, oh and a teenage prego lesbian)Thanks to them I have some of the BEST stories EVER. When I got to Portland it was BEAUTIFUL. It was in the 80's and I could wear a sun dress with no coat. AMAZING. I miss nice weather. I went straight to the Venue, met Lou, ate WAY too much and then enjoyed a night of metal.
The Mastodon crowd is insane. End of story.
I woke up at 10am and found myself back in Seattle. Which led to more metal, A LOT of drinks and a massive hangover the next morning.
I managed to pull it together and Ashlee and I set off for our BFF day, which included massive amounts of caffeine, Taco Bell, and tons of snacks. we drove 2 hours to Bellingham to see Death Cab and the love of my life Ben Gibbard. Other then the annoying people that surrounded us it was the BEST NIGHT OF MY LIFE! They played an amazing set and I never wanted it to end. I never thought it would be possible to love them more then I do, but it is.
Now I'm on the couch in PJ's and a hair mask. I have no intention of doing anything except cleaning my room(its a DISASTER), going to the grocery store, and listening to the new Manchester Orchestra and Kevin Devine, and of course Death Cab.

We were there for opening day (4-14-09) and the return of the GriffeyButt. The game was sold out so it made it pretty hard to find a good place to drink before the game started, but we managed. A lot of beer, a lot of junk food and a win = a great day. here are some pics....

Bringing it back

I decided to bring back the blog spot... why? Cause why the F not.
Went to the Mariners game yesterday, and it was SO much fun. I ate like crap and drank wayyyyyy to much. But it was worth it. Got a Griffey shirt and a foam finger. Pictures coming soon!

Im Back!

So I have been blowing it lately blogging wise....but im back and ready thanks to my wife being back home and getting on my ass about it.
So last saturday we got right back into the swing of things. Dinner with these peeps.


And then straight to Delurk of course.
Everything is Pretty much the same since Sally left...Dudes like this still show up.

SUNDAY FUNDAY!

After breakfast and a movie, we took sunday funday to San Anselmo for the classic car show. The rides were pretty sweet.









After looking at the cars we went shopping and found a shirt for Josh.

They had to have been maybe 11 and 6....but boy did they have game. Not only did they give us flowers, but they also used some sweet lines on us.Here are a few...."If you were a lazer you'd be set to stunning!" "The only thing more beautiful then a flamingo is you." "Whats your name?(insert name) Oh I thought it was gorgeous." After lines like that of course we said yes when they asked us to dance.

After all that dancing we decided to call it quits on San Anselmo and head back to lovely SF.

Friday night started with Krystal and I taking a longgggg walk to check out josh at his open mic night. A beer for the walk was a must...obvi.

Ran into some hommies and chated for a sec.


Then we waited, for what felt like years, to catch the bus. The only entertainment we had was this bus stop sign. It kept us busy for at least 2 pics.


The bus took us 1 block then kicked us off cause there was a shooting and the streets were blocked off. The stress was really getting to me.

After chasing down some cabs we finally got to delerium....and we saw this...

Western Edition Premire

Mira and I headed out on a thursday night to check out the Western Edition video premire. There was a decent amount of people there.
